Quote to cash is rules with judgment at the seams. Automate the rules, gate the seams, and the close gets shorter.

Most of quote to cash, the path from a signed quote to money in the bank, is rules: this plan, this discount, this billing schedule, this collections cadence. Agents run rules without getting tired or creative.
The seams are where judgment lives: the non-standard term, the customer who is late for a reason worth knowing, the revenue recognition question that needs a human signature. Put approval gates exactly there and nowhere else, and finance stops being the department that slows deals down.
I will be honest that this is the function where I have the least practice of my own. The position is a design argument. The evidence is still coming.
